AAlwyna
Patent pending · Photo-to-pattern

Designed anywhere.
Handmade near you.

Alwyna is a global atelier without factories. Independent designers publish their work. A patent-pending pipeline turns each design into a production pattern. A certified artisan near the buyer makes it, one piece at a time.

Why Alwyna

Talented designers rarely reach a global market. Skilled artisans rarely get steady work. Mass production ships the same product across oceans. Alwyna connects all three: global design, local hands, no overstock.

How it works

One platform, four ways in.

  1. 01

    Discover

Browse original work from independent designers, shown on AI virtual models or real models. AI images are labelled.

  2. 02

    Personalise

Choose a standard size or enter measurements for made-to-measure. Or commission a one-off piece.

  3. 03

    Made near you

The order is routed to a certified artisan close to you and made under the Alwyna brand.

  4. 04

    Delivered

Quality-checked, then handed to a local courier — or made farther away and shipped with duties prepared.

The technology · Patent pending

From a photograph to a pattern a maker can cut.

The pipeline reads a photo of a garment, bag or shoe and reconstructs the flat pieces an artisan needs. The same path turns licensed designs, and customer-chosen AI designs, into production packages. Low confidence is sent to a human pattern maker.

  1. 01

    Segmentation

Isolates the product from the background.

  2. 02

    Attributes

    Neckline, sleeves, seams, hardware, material.

  3. 03

    Shape

Recovers volume, drape or, for shoes, a last.

  4. 04

    Panels

Splits the surface along construction lines.

  5. 05

    Flattening

Unrolls each panel with distortion control.

  6. 06

    Finishing

Allowances, notches, grainlines, a bill of materials.

  7. 07

    Grading

A size chart, or the buyer’s own measurements.

  8. 08

    Virtual check

Assembles it virtually and scores the error.

  9. 09

    Output

DXF, SVG and PDF for the cutting table.

Categories

Five crafts. One routing system.

Clothing

Dresses, tailoring, outerwear. Graded sewing patterns.

Bags

Totes, clutches, leather goods. Panel patterns and hardware.

Shoes

Last-based uppers, linings and soles, graded by size.

Jewellery

Rings and metalwork from a drawing, metal and tolerances.

Art & craft

Ceramics, textiles and décor from a making brief.

The maker network

No factories. Certified hands, chosen per order.

Every Alwyna piece is made by a registered artisan. Routing prefers someone near the buyer when quality and the date allow it. Otherwise the job goes to the strongest remote maker, plus shipping.

Who gets paid

Design once. Earn every time it is made.

Designers keep their IP and license it to the brand. Artisans are paid a piece-rate. The split below is the plan’s illustrative $150 Alwyna-brand order. Shipping is charged separately. Rates will be tested by category.

Illustrative. Jewellery materials and clothing labour will not share one percentage.

Patent pending

Protected as a technical system.

The method for turning photographs of garments, bags and shoes into scale-calibrated patterns, then routing production to location-matched makers, is the subject of a pending application. This site describes the idea. It is not the patent specification.
